Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of school administration in promoting the culture of digital citizenship among students at public schools in the Directorate of Education of Major General Naour. In the Directorate of Education of the Naour District, after conducting statistical analysis, it was found that there is an average role of the school administration in promoting the culture of digital citizenship among students in government schools. The results also showed no statistically significant differences at the significance level of (α≤0.05) in the opinions of the study sample members regarding the role of school administration in promoting digital citizenship culture among students, based on variables such as gender, educational qualification, and number of years of service. The study recommended several actions, the most important of which is activating the role of civil society institutions in the security, media, and technological aspects, and involving them in promoting the values of digital citizenship.
