Abstract
The study aimed to identify the degree of commitment of Islamic education teachers to the basic principles of the Prophetic curriculum in the emotional education of children. The study adopted a descriptive approach, using a questionnaire as the tool for data collection. The study population consisted of 204 male and female teachers, and the study sample consisted of 130 male and female teachers selected through convenience sampling. The results of the study showed that the degree of commitment among Islamic education teachers to the basic principles of the Prophetic curriculum in the emotional education of children was high. The results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences due to the variables of gender and educational qualification. Accordingly, the study recommends that Islamic education teachers in Ajloun Governorate continue to practice emotional education in their interactions with students considering the Prophet’s Sunnah.
