Abstract
The study aimed to test the impact of entrepreneurial orientation, with its dimensions of risk-taking, autonomy, and proactiveness, on the success of Jordanian small projects, measured by creativity and innovation, growth, and reputation. It also examined the moderating role of government support during the Corona pandemic. The study relied on a quantitative, descriptive, and analytical approach. The study population comprised all licensed projects financed by the Women’s Fund for Microfinance during the pandemic, totaling 790 projects. A random sample of 260 projects was selected to represent the study sample. The sampling unit consisted of project owners or managers. A questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting the necessary information and data. Out of 260 distributed questionnaires, 232 were retrieved, and 220 were valid for statistical analysis. The study employed the SPSS program for statistical analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show a statistically significant impact (α ≤ 0.05) of entrepreneurial orientation, with its dimensions of risk-taking, independence, and proactivity, on the success of Jordanian small projects in terms of creativity, innovation, growth, and reputation. Additionally, the results revealed a statistically significant impact (α ≤ 0.05) of government support in positively modifying the impact of entrepreneurial orientation, with its combined dimensions, on the success of Jordanian small projects, measured by their combined dimensions, during the Corona pandemic.
