Abstract

The present study aimed to identify the degree of satisfaction of the Arabic language students at the College of Education at Sultan Qaboos University about the practicum during the e - learning period. To achieve the purpose of the study, the researchers adopted the descriptive - analytical method. The sample consisted of 44 students. A questionnaire was designed and included five themes: unit plan 8 items, reflection papers related to teaching 9 items, classroom peer observation 8 items, exchange visits with expert teachers 6 items, and professional development 6 items. At the end of the questionnaire, there were two open - ended questions about the difficulties facing students in completing the courses’ requirements and suggestions for improvement. The findings revealed that the degree of satisfaction of the Arabic language students at the College of Education on the student teaching course requirements using e - learning was high with m=3.79 and SD=.52. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of satisfaction between males and females. Furthermore, recommendations on developing the Internet service and its provision in the Sultanate of Oman were suggested.
