Abstract
The current study aimed to investigate the impact of distance learning on the equality of mathematics educational opportunity during the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Palestinian northern Governorates. Moreover, it aimed to identify the statistically significant differences among the answers provided by the participants of the study based on the variables of gender, teaching grade, qualification, and teaching experience. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researchers employed the descriptive approach where they articulated a 40 - item questionnaire to gather data from the 152 participants, who are mathematics teachers. The study results revealed that the level of mathematics equal learning opportunities in distance learning as perceived by teachers in Palestinian northern Governorates was generally intermediate. At the level of sub - topics, the efficacy of teaching and learning of mathematics distantly came in first place, followed by technical and administrative procedures, and then the availability of mathematics distance teaching tools. The results also revealed no statistically significant differences attributed to the variables of gender, teaching grade, qualifications, and teaching experience. Based on these results, the current study presented some suggestions and recommendations.
