Abstract
The current study aimed at determining the obstacles of academicachievement for the two courses of Health & Science and their Methodologies1 and 2 courses at Al Quds Open University. It also aimed at identifying Teachingtheir relation to students’ attitudes toward learning and teaching science. Toachieve this goal, the researcher prepared two study tools: a questionnairefor determining the achievement obstacles and an attitude measure towardslearning and teaching sciences. These tools were conducted on a sample of(119) students from both sexes. The following statistical methods were usedin analyzing data: the mean.، standard deviation، T - test، Person correlationcoefficient، and F - test.The study results showed that there are obstacles of high level amongthe two sexes irrespective of the Tawjihi Stream (scientific & literary). Theyalso showed that there is a positive attitude toward learning and teachingsciences among sample members، and a negative attitude toward, the studyenvironment، also there is a correlation between the achievement obstaclesand the attitude toward, learning and teaching sciences. In the end of thestudy, the researcher presented a number of recommendations
