Abstract

This study aims at identifying the interest of Palestinian media websites to use info-graphics in their content, the most important fields of using them, and their most important elements as well as their most used elements. In addition, this study sheds light on the most important issues and topics raised through info-graphics in media websitesThe researcher used the survey methodology, depending on the content analysis method. The researcher also used the content analysis form as a tool to collect information on a sample of (93) individuals. The study, through its research sample, revealed that there is a high tendency in the interest of utilizing info-graphics among different websites, even if the level and form of interest varies from one website to another. These websites showed a 70.69% of interest in visual elements and a 29.31% in readable ones. For example, “Quds News” website has a very high interest, represented through noticeable percentages, in visual and readable elements of info-graphics. Issues and data presented through info-graphics are also different. The issue of wars and violations occupied the highest interest with a 33.33%, while the refugees issue came next with a 16.13%, then the prisoners’ issue with a 12.9%, and finally the siege issues with a 4.3%.
