Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effect of business simulation and virtual education on the quality of university education in al-Balqa Applied Academy for e-Learning. To realize the objective of this study, a questionnaire was designed based on the relevant studies in order to collect information from the study sample. The study population comprised all principals, teachers, administrative and technical staff of the academy, in addition to the students enrolled in the Faculty of Business at al-Balqa Academy. Regarding the small size of the study population, it was decided to conduct a comprehensive survey of all members of the study community. The sample of the study consisted of 132 questionnaires out of 145 distributed.The study reached a set of results, the most important entail the following: There is a statistically significant effect of technological design, the educational and moral aspect on the quality of education, and the flexibility of electronic services in the use of business simulations. However, supporting and evaluating resources does not have a clear role on the quality of education. There is a statistically significant effect regarding the moral aspect, support and assessment resources in virtual education, but e-design does not have a prominent role. There is a statistically significant effect regarding the use of business simulation and adoption of virtual education on the quality of university education.Based on the results, a set of recommendations was presented, including the necessity for al-Balqa Academy to activate the use of business simulation more effectively, in addition to enhancing the impact of virtual education and business simulations on the quality of university education in line with the needs of the Faculty of Business. Al-Balqa Electronic Academy should work to integrate business simulations with virtual education to ensure the quality of university education.
