Abstract

The study aimed at recognizing the level of Internet games disorder among university students in light of the variables of gender, social status, and academic specialization. The sample consulted random of (300) students, and it was conducted during the second course 1439/1440. Used Arabic version of the IGD-20 Test Hawi & Samaha. The results demonstrated that the spread of Internet Games Disorder among university students was average. The results also demonstrated statistical differences attributed to the variable of gender in favor of the male. In addition, demonstrated differences in the level of Internet games disorder among university students to the variable of Academic Specialization in favor of the humanitarian colleges. The results also showed no differences in the variable of social status.
