Abstract
This study aims at investigating the linguistic intelligence indicators in a series used in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers at the University of Jordan.The sample consisted of the third book of this series. The researchers used the methodology of content analysis.They employed a validated tool that included (30) indicators of linguistic intelligence. The results showed that linguistic intelligence indicators presence exceeded 70%. The most dominant of which were the acquisition of new vocabulary and synonyms. Speaking came next while summarizing, evaluating texts, expressing opinion and employing technology were not presented at all. The study recommended conducting similar studies in the field utilizing the tool used, paying more attention to speaking and functional and creative writing.
