Abstract

The study aimed to examine religiosity and life satisfaction levels in light of some variables and the relationship between the two variables among a sample of (156) unemployed university graduates at Jerash Governorate selected using convenient sampling procedures. The researcher used Religiosity Scale and Life Satisfaction Scale. Means, standard deviations, Three -Way ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficients were used for data analysis. The results of the study revealed that religiosity levels among unemployed university graduates was high. There were statistically significant differences in religiosity levels due to gender, in favor of females; while no significant differences were found due to age and years of unemployment. The results of the study revealed that life satisfaction level among unemployed university students was moderate. There were statistically significant differences in life satisfaction levels due to gender, in favor of females, while no significant differences were found due to age, and years of unemployment. Finally, the results of the study indicated a statistically significant positive correlation between religiosity and life satisfaction among unemployed university graduates.
