Abstract

It is analytical study aimed to analyze the accommodation offered to students with disabilities at the university provided by the faculty members during the review of educational literature includes these accommodations for students with disabilities, which were classified into four main domains : accommodations for the student with a specific disability provided by a faculty member such as academic services, course arrangement services, services inside the hall, and finally evaluation services which is a change in the regular assessment method. It is an accommodation provided to the student by a faculty member during the evaluation process of a student with a specific disability. It includes a change at the test arrangement, a change in the way it is presented to the student, the content, or a change at its environment. The aim of this residence is to prevent evaluation errors that arise from the disability, and this accommodation was settled according to the category of disability. The results concluded that the determining the required accommodation by a faculty member have to be done based on reviewing several sources. The following disabilities were listed: learning disabilities, people with impaired attention and hyperactivity, people with behavioral and emotional disorders, people with communication disorders (speech and language), people with autism, hearing impairment (deaf and hard of hearing), visual impairment (total blindness and Partially Sighted), Physical, health, and brain injury. The results show the necessity of training the faculty members on accommodation offered to students with disabilities.
