Abstract
The purpose of this study was knowing the opinions of students of higher education institutions in the Sultanate of Oman about Distance Learning under the Corona pandemic. It used the Descriptive methodology, and to achieve her goals, a questionnaire consisting of (23) a paragraph, Spread over two axes; An axis on the advantages of Distance Learning consisted of (15) paragraphs, and an axis on the difficulties of Distance Learning consisted of (8) paragraphs. The sample consisted of (277) male and female students from higher education institutions in the Sultanate of Oman. It was chosen in a simple random manner from the various governorates of the Sultanate. The results showed that the students ’opinions on Distance Learning came with an average degree and an average arithmetic amount of (2.80), and that the difficulties faced by students in Distance Learning came with an average degree and an average arithmetic amount of (3.36). There are no statistically significant differences attributed to the sex variables and the type of institution. It recommended several recommendations: the most important of which is the necessity of training students on the programs used in the Distance Learning process, and developing positive attitudes towards Distance Learning.
