Efficiency of field training for media students of Yarmouk University in media institutions: a survey study

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the efficiency of field training for students of Faculty of Media at the Yarmouk University in Jordanian media institutions, to achieve the objectives of the study, it was based on descriptive research, and within its framework on the (survey method) and the main study tool (the questionnaire) was built, the study sample consisted of (117 of the students of the Faculty of Media at Yarmouk University who received field training in the summer semester of the year (2020). The results showed that; the efficiency of field training for students of the Faculty of Media at Yarmouk University in the media institutions from the viewpoint of the trainees, the extent of their satisfaction with the mechanism for conducting field training, and the role of media institutions and the same trainee had ranked the middle level. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the efficiency of field training due to the variables of gender, specialization, and academic year.
