Abstract
The study aimed to figure out the impact of using a training program for the coordination abilities on some physical abilities and the levels of skill performance on gymnastics floor exercise upon female students. The researchers used the experimental method where the members of the study sample were selected intentionally from the female students of the Faculty of Physical Education who were registered to study Gymnastics II. The total number of the members of the sample was (40) students who were randomly distributed into two equal groups: control and experimental by (20) female students per group. Also, a training program was prepared for the coordination abilities with the help of specialists in the physical field that is suitable with the nature of the physical abilities and the skill performance on the floor mat. The proposed program was held for eight weeks where there were twenty-four units by (60) minutes per unit. The study concluded that using the training program for the coordination abilities in the training process had a positive impact in the development and improvement of the level of the physical abilities under study. The study results confirmed the preference of training through the use of the coordination abilities program compared to not using it. The researchers recommended the need for using the coordination abilities in teaching and training all sports.
