Abstract
The study aimed to identify the requirements of the smart university and the degree of their availability in Jordanian universities from the students' perspective. The study used the descriptive approach, and a questionnaire was developed that was distributed to the sample of (385) students who were chosen by random method. The results of the study showed that the arithmetic averages of the axes of the degree of availability of smart university requirements in Jordanian universities came to a medium degree. It also found statistically significant differences because of gender on the responses of the study sample on the availability of smart university requirements in Jordanian universities in all fields, as well as in the tool, and the differences were in favor of females. Smart universities in Jordanian universities in all fields as well as in the tool, and the differences came in favor of private universities. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences because of the academic path and the academic level in all fields as well as in the tool as a whole. The study recommended emphasizing the importance of the availability of smart university requirements in Jordanian universities, the application and development of the foundations and standards of smart universities, and the need to educate university employees and students about the privileges provided by smart universities
