Abstract
The study aimed to identify the reality of the employment of artificial intelligence and its relationship with the quality of performance of Jordanian universities from the point of view of the faculty members. The study sample consisted of (370) faculty members, and the descriptive correlational approach was used, and a three-part questionnaire was developed; The first: includes demographic data, and the second: to measure the degree of artificial intelligence employment, consisting of (33) items distributed over the administrative and academic domains, and the third: to measure the degree of quality performance of Jordanian universities, consisting of (28) items, which validity and reliability were verified. The results of the study showed that the degree of artificial intelligence employment in Jordanian universities from the point of view of faculty members was medium. The results also indicated that there were no differences in the degree of artificial intelligence employment according to the variables: gender, academic rank, and years of experience. While the results showed that there were statistically significant differences according to the type of college in favor of the scientific colleges. The results also showed that the degree of the quality of performance of Jordanian universities was in a medium degree, and that there are no statistically significant differences in the degree of quality of performance of Jordanian universities according to the variables: gender, academic rank, number of years of experience, type of college. The results also indicated that there was a statistically significant correlation between the degree of artificial intelligence employment and the total degree of quality performance of Jordanian universities from the point of view of faculty members
