Abstract
The study aimed to identify the obstacles to managing social institutions in light of the Corona pandemic. The study sample consisted of (15) general managers and directors of sub-sections in social institutions working in the field. The study used the qualitative approach for the purposes of the study, and the researchers used the interview as a tool for collecting information and data. The results of the study indicated that the most prominent administrative obstacles are the lack of alternative plans for the administration to deal with crises, and the lack of readiness of the Internet and technology infrastructure. While the most important material-economic difficulties: the decline in monthly salaries, and the general financial deficit faced by the institutions. As for the most prominent psychological-personal challenges: constant anxiety because of the current difficulties and psychological pressure because of thinking about what will happen. The results indicated that dealing with these obstacles done through developing emergency and alternative plans, providing administrators and workers with a series of specialized practical training, and providing psychosocial support services. The study recommended a set of recommendations, including the development of modern electronic platforms for the work of each institution that supports the implementation of its programs and activities, and the creation of an emergency savings fund by the management of institutions, to be a resource in the event of any economic crisis and others.
