Abstract
The article aimed to investigate the degree of usability of university competence exam for classroom teacher in Jordanian universities from the point of view of the students dealing with it in light of some variables: gender (male, female), university type (public, private and UNRWA) and the academic achievement. To achieve this goal, the descriptive survey methodology was used. The sample of the study consisted of (560) male and female students who were selected using the stratified cluster method from students who applied for the university competence exam in the second semester (2020/2021). To assess the degree of usability of university competence exam for classroom teacher the data was collected by applying questionnaire contains (28) items, after its psychometric characteristics were verified. the results of the study showed that the students' assessment of the degree of usability of university competence exam for classroom teacher in Jordanian universities is good, as it did not show any statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) due to the level of achievement. However, the differences were statistically significant for gender in favor of males, and the type of university in favor of the UNRWA, then private, and finally public, but the impact is weak.
