Abstract
The article aimed to identify the role of family socialization on forming students’ trends from the point of view of students in Madaba Governorate schools in Jordan. To achieve this goal, the study used the descriptive approach, the study population consisted of all males and females (57791) students studying in the schools of Madaba Governorate (Kasabet Madaba, Theban District) in Jordan. The study sample was chosen randomly and consisted of (768) male and female students answered (30) paragraphs of the questionnaire during the academic year 2021/2022. The revealed that the role of family socialization in forming students’ trends came at a high level, the study also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) in the role of family socialization in forming students’ trends due to the variable of gender and the variable of the level of mother’s education ,while the study found statistically significant differences at the level (α≤0.05) due to the academic level variable in favor of the academic level (secondary), the variable of the level of family income, in favor of the category (1001 dinars or more), and for the variable of the level of education of the father, in favor of the two categories (bachelor and graduate studies). In light of the results obtained, it was recommended to prepare programs and seminars to provide sufficient awareness and knowledge to qualify parents in order for their children to receive sound behavioral models in society in the future, and to work on increasing academic courses that enhance the socialization of school students to be good citizens who serve their community efficiently and effectively.
