Abstract
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف تقييم الصفوة الأكاديمية والإعلامية الفلسطينية للقنوات الفضائية المحلية بالنظر لمستوى البرامج وتأثير الرقابة الذاتية، كون هاتين الفئتين من أصحاب الخبرة والاختصاص وتقدما نظرة مهنية بناء على معايشة للواقع. وجاءت هذه الدراسة الوصفية لإظهار مدى الرضى من عدمه لدى الصفوة الأكاديمية والإعلامية الفلسطينية إزاء أداء القنوات الفضائية المحلية. واعتمد البحث على نظريتي "الأجندة" وحارس البوابة الإعلامية ومنهج مسح أساليب الممارسة، وطبق على 206 مفردات من أصل (430) صحافيا وإعلاميا وأكاديميًا يمثلون مجتمع الدراسة الأصلي، إذ تم اختيارها بناء على أسلوب العينة العشوائية البسيطة التي تعد من أوجه العينات الاحتمالية. وأظهرت النتائج وجود دور قوي للرقابة الذاتية والقيود المفروضة على القنوات الفضائية الفلسطينية في تأثيرها على القائمين بالاتصال، وأن للانقسام الفلسطيني دور كبير وسلبي في أداء الصحفيين في القنوات الفضائية الفلسطينية
This study aimed to identify the evaluation of the Palestinian academic and media elite of local satellite channels with regard to the level of programmes and the impact of self-censorship, as these two groups are experienced and specialised and provide a professional view based on reality. This descriptive study came to show the extent of satisfaction or dissatisfaction among the Palestinian academic and media elite with the performance of local satellite channels. The research relied on the theories of "Agenda" and "Media Gatekeeper" and the practice methods survey method, and was applied to 206 respondents out of 430 journalists, media professionals, and academics representing the original study population, as they were selected based on the simple random sampling method, which is a form of probability sampling. The results showed a strong role for self-censorship and restrictions imposed on Palestinian satellite channels in their impact on communicators, and that the Palestinian divide has a significant and negative role in the performance of journalists in Palestinian satellite channels
