Aims & Scope
The General Union of Arab Archaeologists aims to unify research efforts and raise academic research, reaching a unified vision on the nature of archaeological work in the Arab world, in addition to its keenness to unify archeological terminology among Arab researchers in order to create an academic research language that is common among Arab archaeologists. The quality of research published in the Journal of the General Union of Arab Archaeologists since its commencement to date has been characterized by its qualitative diversity, not the quantitative, in terms of topics on ancient and Islamic monuments and civilizations, museums, restoration, sunken monuments and inscriptions that highlight the academic mobility in the Arab world, both in archeological excavations or architectural restorations, in the programs of museum development, training and rehabilitation, or in modern applications in archaeology. Accordingly, the Journal of the General Union of Arab Archaeologists is a comprehensive academic encyclopedia, which benefits researchers in accordance to their specialties and research trends, and participates in the development of archaeological work in the Arab world and coordination between Arab researchers. At the same time, it shows the sincerity of the intentions, the nobility of purpose and the will of the General Union of Arab Archaeologists in maintaining the continuity of Arab communication between the archaeologists. In fact, this product among us is the result of such dedication, the communication among archaeologists and the success achieved by the General Union of Arab Archaeologists in the annual publication of its Journal since its first issue in 2000 to date.
