Abstract
The present study aims to recognize the effect of field training on the improvement of both self-proficiency and counselling skills among the post graduate students of psychological and educational counselling in Hebron University. The data includes a sample of 44 students. He researcher uses the descriptive analysis strategy The results show that field training effectively improves the conscious self-proficiency showing high degree on average. It also shows that there are significant differences due to gender variation indicating higher average for male participants. As for the variation of courses, it is clear the variation of courses is due to those who have taken more courses. The results show that field training effectively improves counselling skills among the participants showing high degree on average.
