Abstract

The current study aimed at revealing the role of participatory planning in achieving Quality, and promote community responsibility for universities. The researcher used the descriptive approach, by reference to various references and sources; to describe the problem of research and identify it; to achieve its objectives, and the study reached the results, the most important of which are the following: Social responsibility today falls under the list of legal and voluntary duties that institutions must take into account in the performance of their work. The most important of these institutions are universities. The study also revealed that the concept of participatory planning involves involving all stakeholders in designing and building a community responsibility strategy that contributes to improving the system. Social services and sustainable development in society. The study revealed that participatory planning contributes to reducing the gap between universities and society and enhances their partnership. It provides social services based on advanced quality standards.
